It also has a positive physical effect, improving the appearance of the skin and reducing puffiness caused by water retention, poor circulation or pregnancy.
Deep Tissue Massage Therapy
Direct deep pressure to break up and eliminate scar tissue and work further into knots and tension. Focus is on specific areas and may cause some tenderness during the treatment.
However the techniques I use keep any discomfort to a minimum but with maximum benefit and you should feel better than ever within a day or two. All my clients have felt more limber and loose in their muscles and posture immediately afterwards.
Sports Massage / Remedial Injury Massage Therapy is a combination of intensive deep tissue massage, some stretching techniques and muscle manipulation to reduce stiffness and pain but also to increase speed of soft tissue repair and improve range of movement and muscle performance.
